Please be advised that NGED are unable to move smart meters. Where you have a smart meter installed, you will need to make arrangements with your supplier to move the equipment to your meter location on the same day as we move your supply.
We can carry out this work if you wish to move your main fuse and incoming cables. You can apply for this by clicking the button below.
If you only wish to move your meter a short distance (with no change to the incoming cables) then you will need to ask your Electricity Supplier to carry out this work, since they are the legal owner of the meter. To find your supplier, check your electricity bills or use the tool on the right.
Please note: there are different types of meters, including those with a separate time switch and smart meters. Smart meters usually have a separate in-home display. If you are unsure what type of meter you have installed at your property, your supplier will be able to advise you. You can find out who your supplier is here.
