  • Site location and supply details 
  • Details of the EV charge point 
  • Details of any existing devices to be replaced
  • Customer and Installer contact details

How much will your connection cost?

The cost of your connection will depend on the specifics of your application - this is all worked out in line with our Connections Charging Methodology.

What’s included in your connection

Your connections offer will take into account if any retrospective works are required. This process is:  

  • Please complete an application form and we will call you back within a working day. We will assess your application to ensure we have the ‘minimum information’ required. If not, we may ask you for some more details.  
     
  • Confirm approval for installation: we may need to arrange some retrospective works to your equipment, such as a fuse upgrade. In some cases, we may arrange for your local NGED office to get in touch with you to arrange a visit.
     
  • Contacting an electrician: internal wiring and installing your EV charger must be carried out by a qualified electrician
